The land plot with the family house, covering 400 m2, borders with the Jelenovac forest, and Kosirnikova Street along its western side.
The shape and size of the plot, its orientation, the assigned programme, the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, and the so-called quite traffic – determine the basic disposition of the space and the volume of the building. The part of the street building is under reconstruction. A flat green roof has replaced the flat roof. The loggias at the western facade are being closed and have become part of the interior. The loggias on the ground and second floors will also be closed. The disposition of the inner area and the wooden terrace floor coating has been altered.
The existing yard building will be replaced by a new structure (atelier) on the same, unchanged level (basement). Half of the roof of the yard building is planned as a green roof. The other half is a terrace linked with the ground level of the street building. The terrace and the facade of the yard building are coated with wood. The terrace is connected with the basement level by an external, spiral staircase.
The treatment of the facade will be finalized by applying a building material that corresponds well with the purpose and location of the building, such as plaster and glass, including the protection from sunlight so as to ensure as pleasant ambiance as possible. The roof is flat and green.
Autochthonous vegetation will be planted in the front gardens and the free parts of the land plot. The building plot will be partly bordered with a max. 1.5-metre high fence.
